The first Short Mat Tournament of the season took place over the weekend of November 14-16th. The annual aerating of our precious greens has been completed for another year. Thanks to Shaen and his crew of volunteers who scooped up many thousands of cores generated by greenskeeper John’s machine. After John finishes covering the greens with sand, they should be in good shape in a couple of weeks.

This season the Thursday evening Aggregate Lawn Bowling League was from May 1 to September 11, in which 20 weeks were in play. There were 44 members registered to participate in this event. On Sunday, September 14, 2025, our last outdoor club tournament of the season started with a drizzly morning but it did not stop 48 enthusiastic Lake Hill lawn bowlers from competing. On Saturday July 19th LHLBC held our Family and Friends fun bowl event.   Fifty two adults and five young children took to the greens for some socializing and slightly challenging bowling.
