- At release, avoid “the flip up” where the hand and forearm rise up and across the body. Also, the “ricochet” which is a jerk release and a quick backward movement of the arm and hand.
- After the bowl is released, you’re not done. Keep your hand and arm no more than waist high and ideally lower.
- Palm up and pointing to your target.
- Stepping forward as you rise up, the bowl should be well on its way to target.
- Watch the bowl until it stops in order to gain information about the green and your accuracy of choosing the target.
