Thanks to the many who came and helped with the BBQ and games. Thanks to all of the help, the event was successful, aside from the failure of one of our BBQs which resulted in a delay feeding everybody, and the late start of the bowling.
I am always afraid I will miss someone when personally thanking those that help but here goes anyway – special thanks go out to Sharron, Kay, Margot, Stephen, Joe, Randy, Mark, Jean and my BBQ partner Nick P.
There were three teams that won all three games – Gill L, Marie M and Ted L who lost by one differential point and came 3rd; Sirish P, Devorah G and Betty H came second: and Mark P, Heather D, and Grant M were the overall winners. Congratulations to you all and all the bowlers who lived through the mosquito attack at the end.
