This past weekend saw the completion of Lake Hill’s longest running tournament – the Shooting Star Ladies Singles Tournament. It started at the end of May on designated Friday evenings and the final three rounds were played on Saturday and Sunday. In line with the round robin format, every competitor played everyone else.
We were lucky with perfect weather on Saturday – then the storm hit overnight necessitating a clean-up of the green on Sunday morning. Thanks to Bill and Steve for getting out there with the brooms and clearing everything up!

A good time was had by all – and many thanks again to everyone who made the tournament happen – those who prepped the greens and set them up on the day; the kitchen volunteers; the computer guru and operators; the markers and everyone else who volunteered their time.
