The Gordon Head Lawn Bowling & Croquet Club hosted the Sadler Memorial Mixed Triples tournament July 20-22, 2026. 32 teams sought the coveted trophy between afternoon and evening sessions, playing one 14-end game on each of the three days of the event.
Lake Hill was represented by several members, including the team of Joe Fitzgerald (lead), Shona Dallison (vice), and Mark Planiden (skip), who managed to win each of their three games and garner enough point differential to be awarded the trophy!
The tournament was well run with great competition and camaraderie, a nearly impeccable green, and a delicious array of snacks. Congratulations to all bowlers for doing their best during the hottest week of the summer!
