We had a good turnout for our annual Meet and Greet Wednesday night, welcoming 17 of the 28 new members.
The weather was perfect. The challenging games, which had nothing to do with lawn bowling, kept all of us, new and old members, on a level playing field.
Carley N was top scorer in the ‘newbie’ category while Larry M took top honours in the ‘oldies’.
Following the games, all enjoyed a wonderful spread of appetizers, desserts and beverages.
A big thank you to Mary S for organizing the event, and to all who assisted her.
We look forward to seeing members, old and new, on the greens and at the various events in the coming year.
