Commitment has to do with how you release the bowl.
If you are not committed to the shot then then it won’t feel right.
- Stop and step off of the mat (this is also a good message to send to your opponent).
- Refocus, see your target, step on the mat, see your line to the target, adjust your depth and deliver right to your target.
If you allow doubt to creep in , your shot likely won’t work. It is so important to bowl with confidence and intention, otherwise you’re just “wishing and hoping”. Yes, some shots that way, will fluke in, however, it’s not a recipe for success.
