The first annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale was a HUGE success.
From 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday many people circulated among the tables which displayed an amazing assortment of baking, preserves and crafts.
The amazing total raised was $4,602.22. Astonishing! And it was so much fun – visiting with members and their friends and families and a few new folks who came by, seeing all of the contributions by such talented members, enjoying the children who came by, and spending money!
A huge thank you to Linda S for her energy and inspiration in bringing this event to our club.
And a big thank you to all who helped to make this the success that it was – those that donated items, those who set up everything, who “staffed” the kitchen providing tea, coffee and cookies (which also added to the money raised), those who stood by the tables helping folks and moving “merchandise” around, those who “staffed” the cash desk to receive payments and bag all of the goodies, and those who stayed to clear up afterwards. We appreciate all who helped!
