It didn’t rain, and that was good news for the TV cameraman and the Upside guys Jeff King and Ed Bain from CHEK TV who visited our club on Tuesday, May 20th. Although the wind was sometimes a factor, sandbags on the camera tripod helped. Many club members came out to play so the greens were busy in the background while the filming went on.
Jeff and Ed each had a short lesson in bowl delivery and tried out some of our new club bowls, but most of that action wasn’t captured on TV. Figuring out the bias seemed to be a challenge, and the terminology – rakes, jacks, mats, bowls. It was lighthearted and fun.
