The annual in-house Quaddies tournament was held Sunday, August 24th at 9:00 a.m. with 32 bowlers attending. Due to the predicted high temperature we bowled 8 ends/10 ends for singles instead of the scheduled 10 and 12 ends. With the shortened format we finished an hour ahead of the usual time and some of the heat.
The highlight of the day was, of course, the PIES. Big thank you to the bakers. Many pies were shared with quite the variety leaving with some bowlers.
Many volunteers helped the tournament to be a success, from set-up to clean-up.
