The 2024 2-Bowl 6-Pack Triples on Sunday, September 15th, was our last outdoor club tournament of the year. The Tournament consists of bowling with 2-Bowls and six 6-End Games lasting 45 minutes in length. We had 14 teams and 42 enthusiastic players competing in perfect lawn bowling weather: sunny and not too cold or too hot. The games were quick, fun, and sociable.
Before the games started, Shirley H. gave a heartfelt member tribute speech on Linda McClung, who passed away in August 2024. Linda contributed immensely to Lake Hill LBC. Her accomplishments at Lake Hill included:
- a leader / negotiator for 10 years in the rebuilding of our club house;
- head coach;
- 2001 Novice Champion;
- served as 2003 President;
- received outstanding Service Award to our club in 2010; and
- volunteered and sponsored events such as this one, 2-Bowl 6-Pack Triples.

In our usual amazing Lake Hill fashion, we showed up, helped out, and supported each other, and our club. Just like Linda McClung, be proud of your contributions to our club, and its tournaments. WE could not have achieved success without you all!
